Metric v imperial does it matter?

Do you know your kilometres from your miles or your pounds from your kilograms?

This is a serious question and a question that many of us may have difficulty with. It can become problematic when trying to change between metric and imperial measurements.

There is a discussion about teaching both sets of measurements to schoolchildren and if teaching both is a good idea. In my opinion, I feel that this would be a good idea and would ensure that children know how to switch between the two.
